Buddy is looking for a talented Ecommerce Manager to develop and carry out strategic online marketing plans for trading our all natural and healthy dog food products on our own websites (D2C) and through the Amazon marketplace.

You will be required to conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platform, and monitor the effectiveness of strategies by inspecting ecommerce metrics. The ultimate goal is to raise the conversion, increase the AOV and lower the CAC across on our websites. As such you will work closely to the central marketing team and the tech team.

The ideal candidate is a proven, collaborative professional who is an expert in D2C or ecommerce marketing strategy with a proven record of driving sales. You posses a strong analytical mindset with the love of data, which you combine with a creative out-of-the box thinking. 

You will report to the Head of Buddy


Responsibilities

  • Define the goals, core strategies and most efficient tactics to drive cost-effective acquisition on our own Buddy websites and through Amazon
  • Develop integrated marketing plans and programs that fuel customer discovery, interest, engagement and retention.
  • Devise a SEO strategy and work with cross-functional teams to execute programs that drive high-quality organic traffic.
  • Work with the Tech-team to implement changes on the site ranging from landing pages to ensure strong conversion, to on page SEO strategies
  • Support the business by reporting on existing KPIs and identifying future growth opportunities via data insights and analyses.
  • Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in our online store.
  • Directing the activities of software developers, copywriters, and graphic designers to ensure careful adherence to predetermined strategies.
  • Reviewing the security of checkout pages and payment procedures.
  • Creating promotional offers and checking to see that these are uploaded precisely.
  • Reviewing copy and legal disclaimers to verify their accuracy.
  • Analyzing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Examining sales-related metrics to inform restocks.
  • Reporting on the utility of existing and novel strategies.


Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience from ecommerce
  • Experience of DTC ecommerce is a strong merit
  • Degree in marketing management, business, information systems, or similar.
  • Demonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies.
  • Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce.
  • Unmatched supervision, research, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional consulting and quality assurance abilities.
  • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
  • Highly detail oriented and able to re-prioritize based on changing business needs
  • Can combine these deep analytical skills with consumer empathy, to ensure we are always delivering delightful, customer-centric experience.
